They were panicking because that ant had wings which never happened before. The only reason why the monsters on Jeju Island weren't a bigger problem was because they were stuck there. Ants with wings mean that won't be the case for long

2024-04-22 01:44:31 +0000 UTCIt's like the Hunters' Guild leader is saying we need an inspiration and a new path, while Jinwoo is becoming it, and why do we need it? The enemies are getting stronger. Jinwoo had luck while the System almost arranged the conditions for the luck, and arranged the reward structure to take advantage of the luck. Synergy. Also, all along we have been looking at Jinwoo getting stronger as also a path of him losing some of his humanity. Maybe that's a good thing for the World, and if the System is on the World's (humanity's), it's good for the System, too. And if Jinwoo is losing his humanity (becoming hardened or maybe it's resilient), maybe it doesn't just make him stronger physically and mentally, maybe it's not just negative but also positive character growth. He's switching one set of positive personality traits for another set. He lost one set of negative traits (symbolizes by the old Jinwoo) and gained others. But he is remolding himself and being remolded into what Jinwoo and the System (World?) need now.
