Chapter 1: Soul King

Royal Palace...

Naruto was just waking up from his intense battle with the Quincy King Yhwach; the blonde barely won the battle with his Zanpakuto by using his Shukai, a form beyond Bankai.

The blonde tried to get up, but his body felt like it was made of lead; it took a good few minutes of trying before he was able to sit up. He looked around him and saw that he was in a massive bedroom fit for a king.

The blonde examined the room, which was decorated with gold and various jewels; however, then he saw that the bed sheets were moving. Curious, he lifted them up and discovered what he saw shocked him.

On his bed were the familiar faces of several very naked women that he had met and befriended throughout his time as a Soul Reaper; some of these women were from different races such as Hollows, Bounts, Humans, Soul Reapers, and even Quincies.

The blonde was at a loss; he didn't know what the hell was going on or why he suddenly felt as if the weight of the world was on his shoulders.

"So you are finally awake," said a voice Naruto had come to hate. "You adapted to the tethers of the three worlds faster than I thought."

Naruto turned his head to see Ichibe Hyosube entering the bedroom as if he owned the place, and he might, since Naruto had no idea where he was.

"What the hell are you talking about, old man?" Naruto replied after letting the old monk's words sink in.

"I mean that you have become the anchor that holds this reality together; you are the new Soul King," Ichibe exclaimed with his arms spread wide, as if it were a good thing.

"What the hell do you mean that I am the new Soul King?!" Naruto screamed, as he was sure this must be some kind of sick joke that this evil monk was playing on him.

"Exactly as I said, the original Soul King was killed and the three worlds were beginning to collapse and merge into one. Out of desperation, I used you to anchor the worlds and stabilize them; it was a gamble, but it paid off." Ichibe explained, as if he hadn't just put the blonde's life on the line in a gamble he wasn't sure would work.

"You son of a bitch! You used my unconscious body for something that could have killed me!" Naruto yelled, readying himself to cut the monk's head off, consequences be damned.

"Would you two shut up? It's too early to be this loud," a female voice said from the bed as she sat up, unconcerned about her own nudity.

Naruto looked at Senjumaru like she had grown another head; he was sure that she was in on whatever the monk had planned.

"Why the hell are you even in the same bed as me?" Naruto asked causiously as he looked at the woman, while Senjumaru was sexy, she was just as dangerous.

"Isn't it normal for a wife to share a bed with her husband?" the woman asked in a mocking tone, but there was an underlying air of seriousness in her voice.

"What the hell are you talking about? Both of you have been confusing me ever since I woke up." Naruto said feeling frustrated as it felt like the two were toying with him.

"Look, this is what happened. You were turned into the new Soul King by me in order to save the Three Worlds because you were the only one around who possessed the necessary power to take the Soul King's place. I was going to use Ichigo, but he was elsewhere, and I needed to act fast, so you became the new Soul King," Ichibe explained gently but there was finality in his voice making it clear that Naruto didn't have a choice in this matter, which pissed the blonde off.

Naruto listened to what the monk said and a thought came into his mind. "I am not letting you cut off my limbs or organs," he yelled as he reached out for his Zanpakuto, which was beside the bed. But Senjumaru grasped his hand, making the blonde glare at her, ready to attack.

"Will you hold on and listen to what the Ichibe has to say?" Senjumaru stated and didn't falter under the blonde's intense gaze, holding his hand until she was sure he would listen.

"Fine, I'll hear you all out," the blonde grumbled.

"Well, it looks like you two are getting along well," the monk joked before getting serious. "The dismemberment of the Soul King has always been one of my deepest regrets and failures. I can assure you that you will not suffer the same fate." The monk vowed.

"So, I am the new Soul King," Naruto stated out loud still not believing his situation . "But why are there so many women in the same bed as me?"

"That is because they are your harem," Ichibe answered bluntly. "It was decided in order to ensure your safety and to continue the royal line; you will need the help of multiple women."

"What? Don't I have any say in this?" Naruto exclaimed, feeling as if his entire life had been stolen from him.

"You do not, now be a man and deal with it." Senjumaru said, not wanting to stretch out the conversation longer than it needed to be. "Let me make it simple for you; you are the new Soul King, whether you like it or not. All the women on this bed are your harem. You have a harem to produce children who can take your place as Soul King in case something happens to you. And they are there for you to entertain yourself with, because you cannot ever leave the Soul King's Palace."

Naruto heard every blunt word the woman spoke and couldn't help but look up at the ceiling, trying to figure out how everything could have gone so wrong.

Flashback...

Naruto recalls when he was a ninja, he endured all kinds of abuse and trials until he became Hokage and built a family of his own; then it all started to take a turn for the worse.

The Otsutsuki clan began invading his world, slowly killing everyone, including himself, but his soul managed to retain its power.

The Otsutsuki had drained all life from the planet, leaving behind only death. From this, however, new life began to emerge; spiritual beings with powers similar to his appeared, and so did monsters that would eventually be known as Hollows.

The funny thing about death is that life is always connected to it, and soon humans began to reappear; this new world is one where life and death coexist hand in hand.

This world is hell; humans and those with weak souls are killed by Hollows, and when a human dies and carries negative emotions, they transform into Hollows. It's a vicious cycle that keeps the world in stagnation until he arrives.

The Soul King, he possessed god-like powers and destroyed the most powerful Hollows, but it didn't change how the world was; as long as humans existed, the Hollows would also exist.

Naruto watched the god-like being on his quest to destroy the hollows, while he himself trained with this new spiritual energy, mastering it as best he could. Sometimes, he would help the Soul King on his hunt for hollows.

Naruto eventually meets four men with powerful spiritual energy like his own, Their names are Hidebira Shihoin, Kioji Kuchiki, Tsuchi Shiba, and Kengai Tsunayashiro.

the blonde became fast friends with Hidebira and Tsuchi but he didn't like Kioji because he was too strict in following rules even if it means killing his family and friends to obey them, he didn't trust Kengai, he reminded him of a snake just waiting to strike.

The four joined him and Reio (which is the soul king's name) in destroying the hollows and saving as many people as possible but as time goes by the four started to feel frustrated because their efforts were futile the world remains the same.

then a plan proposed to use the Soul King's power to separate the world into three parts, allowing them to separate life and death but Reio would have to be sacrificed.

The blonde was opposed to the idea of imprisoning the innocent man, as he is a god person who use his power to help the world. This led to a fight that shook the world, and Naruto managed to defeat them, but was badly injured and fell unconscious.

The Soul King watched all of this unfold but didn't say or do anything during the battle, causing the blonde to curse at him in anger for not protecting himself.

Reio watched the strange blonde man fall unconscious before coming over to him and giving Naruto his katana. Then, he gathered the heavily injured but still-living future noble families heads and left with them.

Flashback End...

Naruto came out of his thoughts as he felt another body shift on the bed, catching his attention; the woman was as naked as Senju had been and he recognized her as Aura Michibane, a powerful Fullbringer.

The blonde wasn't surprised to see her there; she had been a stalker who had followed him like a lost puppy ever since he saved her when she was a child when she was locked away in a basement by her father.

Aura used the blonde's distraction to clamp her hand around his semi-hard cock, making Senjumaru look annoyed at the other woman taking all the blonde's attention away from her.

Naruto stiffens before he glares down at the beautiful young woman who is about to swallow his cock with an innocent look on her face.

"What do you think you're doing, Aura?" Naruto asked in a serious voice.

"Dear husband, I am just doing my duty as a wife," Aura replied as she lowered her head onto the blonde shaft, but Senjumaru stopped her and pulled her back.

"That's enough of that," Senjumaru said. "There is too much to explain for us to be fooling around now."

Naruto was a little disappointed that he didn't get a blowjob from Aura, but he figured it was for the best that his mind was clear; this wasn't the first time he had intimate contact with her, and it wouldn't be the last. His mind wandered back to when the original world was split into three.

Flashback...

Soul Society...

The home of the dead souls and soul reapers, who possess high spiritual powers, Naruto had to admit it was an improvement, but where the majority of dead souls lived was a shithole with no laws and crime ran rampant, the strong ruled and the weaker were victims.

Naruto was here to explore the world that the Soul King had sacrificed himself to create, and his opinion was split; the Human World is much safer for the living, while the Hollows have their own world, and the Dead are in the Rukongai. The blonde couldn't bring himself to agree with the way the three worlds were created.

He had some contact with the noble families again and they were smart enough to not test his already thin patience with them, they even offered him a place among them but he refused saying it would only cause more problems for him, but they insisted that the Soul King requested him to join as the Fifth Great Noble House so he reluctantly agreed.

The peace of the world lasted for a long time with the Soul King sealed away in the royal palace. However, the Snake Tsunayashiro cut the Soul King into pieces out of fear of his power, marking the darkest day in the New World's history and the last day the founder of the Tsunayashiro Noble House was among the living.

When Naruto found out what Tsunayashiro had done, he challenged him to a duel in front of the other noble families and proceeded to cut the man into countless pieces before he wiped his hands clean of the three worlds and left; it was a good thing Tsunayashiro had a son, as his bloodline would have ended that day.

Flashback End...

Naruto saw Yoshino Soma, one of his closest friends, after he left Soul Society. The blonde wandered the human world for a time. He had helped her out when she was being chased by an angry mob who believed she was a witch.

After saving her, Yoshino tried to commit suicide, but the blonde stopped her and told her that while he didn't know what she was, she was most certainly not a witch; just a being with high Reiatsu and a long lifespan.

They became close and became lovers for a time before the blonde started to travel again, leaving her behind. He honestly didn't do it to abandon her; the war between the Soul Reapers and the Quincies happened, and he got involved. He didn't want to put her in danger, so he left her behind.

"Hey, how have you been?" Naruto asked Yoshino awkwardly as he just looked at her with an expressionless face, making the woman's nervous.

"How have you been? That's all you have to say to me after you used and abandoned me." The female bount replied coldly, locking her gaze on Naruto.

"Well, I have a good excuse for that, but I don't think you'll want to hear it, would you? Naruto stated as he saw Yoshino shaking her head. "Look, I'm sorry for leaving you all those years ago without explaining why, and I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me."

Naruto saw several emotions play across Yoshino's face before she finally came face-to-face with the blonde and kissed him on the lips; her hand going for his balls and giving them a squeeze.

"I will forgive you this time, but if you ever leave me behind again, I will hunt you down and castrate you," the bount said with an evil smile.

Yoshino really enjoyed playing the role of a villainess, even though they both knew that she was as harmless as a kitten and wouldn't hurt a fly.

"As fun as it is to see you bonding with your harem, I just wanted to finish explaining everything before I leave," Ichibe stated.

"Fine, but I think I understand what you're saying and the current situation I am in." Naruto exclaimed.

"After you became the new Soul King, to my surprise, because I thought you would have died, but you held out long enough for me to get Ichigo to replace you but you show signs that you adapted to the strain of the three world being anchor to you " he explained honestly, making the blonde want to cut him apart.

"Since you became the new linchpin of the Three Worlds, you can't live in the Royal Palace, but you can have anything brought to you," Ichibe stated. "The idea to give you a harem was Senjumaru's; she didn't want the world to end because there was only one Soul King, and he had died, leaving no one able to take his place."

"So we sent out a messenger to the three worlds for any willing female to join your harem," Ichibe said. "They all agreed to be in your harem willingly and bear your children."

"So what am I supposed to do, stay here and spend my days fucking and sleeping?" Naruto replied.

"You can do whatever you want, but you can't leave here because your life is what keeps the Three Worlds stable," the monk said. "I think I told you everything, so I will take my leave."

The monk left the room with Naruto in the middle of the bed surrounded by the bodies of sexy women from different races watch as the stir and scream when they saw his naked cock, he looked up at the ceiling and said "troublesome".
