Using the family tree is one of the best thing you can do. Dark is great, but it can get a little complicated, there's just a lot characters and you have to remember how they look like in other timeline and their their names aswell. There is so much more to get confused from so it would be a shame if faces a names would make your job even harder.

2025-03-17 10:17:25 +0000 UTCI think being okay with the confusion is part of the show. Part of the writing. It's smart. The other big thing I was curious to see if S&P would touch on is secrecy. EVERYONE in this story (and in life) has a secret(s). No matter how close you think you are or how small your town is, people will always hide things and find a way to isolate themselves. So can we ever really know anyone? And no pun intended...but that's quite dark to think about. Never really knowing the people you're closest to. Although, the show amplifies it by 100x, it's still sad to think about life that way.

2025-03-17 06:26:49 +0000 UTCI think you can take out of this episode one very important thing: all these stories, they are the same people. Those aren’t different timelines, and that is very relevant for now, to be able to understand everything. I know you already watched episode four, where there is a HUGE reveal for this season, but this is something to keep in mind. And I think there is no right way to watch Dark. Back then I just enjoyed a lot being kept confused, because well, I just trusted the show to deliver the answers when they were needed, and that definitely happens. It takes a lot of confusion to get there, because until the very end of the series, once an answer comes, new questions arise :)
