We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. As an adorable, slightly sociopathic, and now maybe slightly taller purple kid once said, "BIG ASS BEAT DOWN COMING UP!" The whole time watching this i was thinking Spartan is going to freak watching this whole episode! Also Spartan, yes Rudy does have the same hair color as Rex...his body was cloned from Rex, remember?!

2025-03-14 14:10:35 +0000 UTCThe best episode of the show. Interestingly, Conquest’s confession to Mark about being lonely wasn’t in the comics, it’s something they added just for the show. Robert Kirkman, the creator, said there will be a change to his story. It’ll be interesting to see how that takes shape moving forward, because we’re not done with this guy. In terms of power level and status, Conquest and Nolan are very close to each other. Whoever wins, would do so by the skin of his teeth. However, there is one other Viltrumite who is far above anyone else we've seen so far, bar Battle Beast. Speaking of, I also love they showed Battle Beast at the end, dude tore that Viltrumite apart and still wants all the smoke. Only upwards from here with this show

The fight between Mark and Conquest did not disappoint and the animation was definitely turned up to the next level these past two episodes. These past couple episodes but especially this one reached the heights of Season 1 for me and may have even exceeded them, and the character development this season has been some of the best the show has offered so far. One thing I really like is Darkblood coming back like that at the end is completely unique to the show and didn't happen at all in the comics so it's completely uncharted territory for everybody, show watchers and comic readers alike. Another thing I gotta point out, Mark has leveled up a lot since season 1. Watch the fight with Mark vs Omni Man and then watch the fight with Mark vs Conquest and you'll see how far he's come so far. Finally, RIP to Rex.
