Squid Game 2x6 Reaction

This is actually very helpful thank you! I’m really bad about remembering the names on this show and always calling them the pregnant one, his bestie, the frontman, etc. it does kind of add to the experience of dehumanizing them i guess 😅 the game wins again

They also gave them glass bottles for dinner 😅 It’s interesting how they formatted the episodes this season with the games taking place in the first half instead of the second half. I think that’s why after each episode you feel like they aren’t hitting as hard as season 1. Because all the other aspects are fresher in your mind. I actually think it’s really cool pacing choice! I think even if you aren’t as deeply invested in the side characters this season - they did a really good job of showing different types of people that could get roped into these games and how they interact with each other. It’s more of a sociology study then a character study.

I think this is the most stressful series I’ve ever watched! Love the reactions 👍

"When you take things way too seriously" You say as you take my comment way too seriously 😆😆😆 like okay

Kelsey

People in other countries do call people by last name just in case you are not aware. When you take things way too seriously.

one last thing - the "burrito-looking" thing is called gimbap (or kimbap)....it's basically Korea's version of sushi. and it is never eaten with a fork.....the game makers absolutely gave them forks knowing they would be used as weapons

Kelsey

just in case you aren't aware - in S.Korea, what we would consider a person's "last name" (or family name) comes first. For example, a "John Smith" in Korea would be called "Smith John" Kim is also one of the most common surnames in Korea, so it's unlikely you'd ever come across a character or Korean person actually named Kim. So the pregnant woman you mentioned in the intro isn't "Kim" - she's Jun-Hee (full name Kim Jun Hee, but her friends would call her Jun-Hee)

Great reaction today!
