Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

Remember this is Tommy's story which we saw come full circle and now as he said he is back from under the ground and has peace at last!!!!!!!. The ending with the bell and Tommy saying Peace at last, Amistice reminds us that Tommy has always been in the war in his head and now he realises that the war has ended in his head and he can ride away (on a white horse). There was always going to be a season 7 which then got scrapped because of covid and the length of time it took to get back to filming season 6 and because of Helen McRory's death.

I felt the same way until I looked them up and saw the actual history the writers have to work around. Considering that the movie is supposed to be set in the middle of WW2, their storyline makes more sense. I still can't wait to see how they play into the film though. I need you guys to stop going so easy on Billy. He and Finn are the reason Polly, Aberama, and the sniper guy are dead. Billy has been a plant since he showed up in the pub. It's also important to realize that a lot of this season's storyline had to be changed because Helen McCrory (Polly) passed away. I wonder if in the alternate plot Michael doesn't die... it's too bad. I think my favorite thing is that Tommy finally has found his "Margate". That place he can run away to that Alfie asked him about at the end of season 5. Someone else brought up that final shot 'and now I am become death' that absolutely ties back into the discussion between Ada and Diana; about the Egyptian vase she had out. Not to mention that Romany people were believed to have come from Egypt (along with other areas). In fact, in a final linguistic history fact...the word 'Gypsy' is short for Egyptian...it almost makes Tommy a fulfillment of prophecy.

I just had never, for whatever reason, gotten the time to watch it. I am so happy I was able to take this journey with you guys for the first time! What exceptional storytelling, writing, acting and so much more from these talented show runners and actors. I absolutely cannot wait for the movie to come out now! And it better be soon! 2024-11-11 06:21:14 +0000 UTCSo to explain the scene with Arthur, Charlie, Isaiah, and the Irish fascists; The sniper was with the fascists. That’s why the woman (Cpt. Swing) wasn’t afraid to walk out in the open after the initial shot. However, Isaiah was also hidden up top with the machine gun, but Arthur and Charlie needed to get out of the line of fire so Isaiah didn’t accidentally shoot them. Arthur yelling “it’s time for the chosen one to reveal himself” was the signal that it’s safe to open fire. The man falling off the railing is the sniper being shot by Isaiah. Hope this helps. I was also a bit confused my first time watching.

I love Spartan throwing off the vest, tie, and hat at the end...man these are so hot. I will not wear anything hot that isn't armor. I thought a few episodes ago that the xray might not be Tommy's. I didn't like Michael dying, but Pol was right one of them would die. I liked the flashbacks reminding us how Tommy and the rest of the family went through the wringer. Ready to move on. I wasn't super attached to the characters after season 4. Different writers made it all about Tommy with a few others sprinkled in.
