I found out about Helen McCrory death when I watched the Harry Potter reunion special. The other actors had nothing but loving things to say about her as a person and as an actor. She will be missed. It's ironic that you just finished Band of Brothers that features her husband, Damian Lewis as Winters. This episode hits me every time.

2024-10-30 22:52:30 +0000 UTCUnfortunately Helen McCrory passed away 16th April 2021 after losing the battle to breast cancer 😢 she kept her illness quite private and only very few people knew, she was also filming for season 6 of Peaky Blinders when she’d passed so the storyline had to be altered and certain parts reshot - she continued filming while receiving treatment 🥺😭such an amazing woman! R.I.P Helen McCrory ❤️
