This is a great movie and a lot of fun. It pokes fun at a lot of war movies and tropes, at Hollywood and the industry in general. Really good satire of the highest quality with a really loaded cast. I mean Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey as supporting actors is not something you normally see in movies. We were watching it in a cinema and the movie just rolls in after we've watched a few trailers and we were sitting there watching the beginning of the movie and we go wtf these trailers are weird what are these movies? It was perfect, we've got baited so hard. That moment with Hugh Jackman was priceless, I'm still recovering. Thanks guys. :)

Everyone started saying stay woke and got stupid, so the term to me mean stupidity, ironically, the same type of people who invented the term are now saying the same exact thing, no joke! "I CaN't TaKe AnYoNe ThAt UsEs ThE WoRd WoKe SeRiOuSlY" literally the same sentence verbatim... and y'all created it, but now that people use it as a negative term you're all saying the same sentence like that means something, get lost clown and go cut yourself cause that's what y'all do right? Pudgey def understood the movie and took it for what it was; Spartan had a good understanding by the end, and I appreciate his breakdown in comedies nowadays being afraid to offend.

2024-08-29 23:45:40 +0000 UTCOne of the most absurd movies I've watched. hahaha. I'm not much for Ben Stiller, but this movie was fun partially because of how much it was just a giant piss-take. But yeah it didn't ruffle as many feathers as you would expect. RDJ's role was pretty well-received as far as I remember. And yeah, you have to rewatch some of the RDJ scenes and Tom Cruise scenes knowing the actors now, because some of the comedy came from that alone.
