Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)

This. The meds: -Keep her from hearing peoples thoughts -Dull her powers by making her have bad reactions to using them too much. Cate is extremely powerful, and her powers have been artificially suppressed by this medication this entire time on top of it. We have seen so far that: -She can mind control people -She can make people selectively forget things even if its not full proof long term. -She can put people in a mind prison (and kill them in it) (they just uploaded 1x6 so safe to say) -She can hear peoples secret, internal thoughts. Crazy

Outside of the relationship and mindwiping stuff Cate overall has been pretty truthful, and we haven't seen her lie about personal traumatic experiences before, she is always very upfront, truthful and accurate about that particular stuff down to every detail. I also think it was not a coincidence that the show purposefully decides to show Rufus trying to do EXACTLY this to Marie in the same episode. He clearly has done this before and to other people. The only reason he didn't succeed is because of Maries powers. It just so happens that her truthful past experience with Rufus was also useful for spinning the false narrative away from her mindwiping, but I am quite confident Rufus did this to Cate.

2024-05-06 06:35:18 +0000 UTCAbsolutely loving your reactions to this and your character analysis is excellent!!! I knew Spartan would freak out about Soldier Boy. This is honestly such a good episode. The visuals, the plot, the writing, the acting. Honestly I find it hard to believe anyone with a negative opinion of this show (to be clear 90% of people I've seen talk about this show had very positive opinions on it) ever got to this episode. Its a better episode than many The Boys episodes imho, and very creatively done, and as you said, they managed to cover a lot of topics in-depth with great pacing and an interesting spin on it in a single episode. Very smart idea. Also shows just how powerful of a supe Cate is. Tech Knight said that Cate is one of the most powerful supes in the entire school and even he had no idea she could do stuff like this. I think she is definitely one of the most powerful supes we have seen in The Boys universe. This episode and the finale are my two favorite. The last 2 episodes are a wild ride!!

2024-05-06 04:17:19 +0000 UTCI don't know if you guys noticed, but right after Cate gave everyone's memories back, it showed she could hear Marie and Jordan's thoughts. The "voices" she complained about hearing to Shetty was the thoughts of everyone around her. So taking those pills makes her stop hearing everyone's thoughts and dims her powers essentially.
