Super late, but Spartan shared a story about a dad talking to someone his daughter brought home. I went to a female friends house when I was close to 18, and her dad said .... "just so you know, I have a gun, and a shovel" lol When we left she was freaking out like "omg I'm so sorry" ... I just told her it was fine. I'd do the same thing so I'm not mad at the man at all.

This season the pace is different, although there is still the division of storie lines, everything happens faster and more intensely. Billy's performance is on point, Joyce always pays attention to the signs, she doesn't miss anything. Hopper is having a difficult start to the season 😅. Robin is a great addition to the team and you can see right away that she is very smart. I love seeing Steve and Justin, that was the reception he deserved and I'm enjoying seeing this little trio forming between Steve, Justin and Robin. "I dump your ass" is an iconic line 🤣 and I love seeing all this young drama. Besides saving the world, they now have real teenage problems to solve 😅😂 !!!! One thing I love about this season is the dose of humor they bring. I hope you're enjoying it, I sure am. Can't waint to the next episode 🥰

It never fails to answer every single question. Watching this episode again really made me realize how much it ties into certain aspects of Season 4, episode 4. Love it!

2024-05-06 01:55:41 +0000 UTCthat Steve/Dustin reunion was perfect! something i really love about this show is that every season, they always split up the gang and have them each figure out parts to the bigger puzzle and then come together in the end to put it all together. but each part in that journey is always entertaining. another thought i had during this was that i kinda feel for Billy. at least when Will was possessed he had friends and family that knew what was going on, Billy has no idea about any of the crazy things going on in this town.

2024-05-06 00:49:33 +0000 UTCI wouldn't say Max and El came out of nowhere, they had been hanging out as part of the same friend group for several months; this is just the first time either of them have taken the steps to spend one on one time together. El has always lived in service of pleasing others: Brenner, Hopper, Mike (to very degrees of extremity, of course haha). She needed someone like Max to help her to act more independently and to make herself happy for once. It may be a little reckless, but also they are kids, only like fourteen at this point; people have a tendency to be dramatic at that age lol. Like we've seen with Steve, all the characters have the capacity to grow and mature. Great reaction!

There wasn't one second wasted in this episode despite it being just a building episode. We learn so much about every character and arc for just one episode. It only gets better from here. Love dustin and steve duo. It's good to see el and mike be forced to have a life outside their relationship, despite it being drama filled lmao.

I felt sorry for Hop at the restaurant. Back then she could have called the restaurant but not him directly, but she did forget. Dacre (Billy) does a great job with his scenes. He definitely commits to his character.

2024-05-05 23:26:08 +0000 UTCYou got to remember Max is coming from a place of abuse. I don't think it was physical abuse but it's definitely been mental and emotional abuse. She doesn't give the best relationship advice because she hasn't had really any good relationships. Her step Brother's been horrendous to her because of how his father treated him and it's just a horrible cycle over and over. But, advice aside, it is nice that El has a girl friend rather than hanging out with the guys. Every girl needs her own friend away from her boyfriend's friends just like guys need their friends away from their girlfriend's friends. Besides, El is becoming a young woman and that's something no guy knows anything about, especially as a teenager 😂
