Title: Having a Child with Yunyun?

It had been several days since Ethan discussed life with Vanir.

Neither the two Divine Treasures he obtained from Vanir nor the so-called “Eyes that See the True Essence of the World” made any sense to him. Even when he asked the All-Seeing Demon about it, all he got were vague answers—like how his Clairvoyance could only perceive the surface of the world, and the true essence had to be discovered through his own power.

But Ethan wasn’t too disappointed. He never expected anyone to fulfill his hopes for him.

Sitting on the sofa in the villa’s living room, he watched the two beautiful girls playing chess at the table beside him.

Eris and Iris were playing in this world’s unique chess style. Ethan had played a few times with a little girl from the Crimson Demon Clan during a meal at the Adventurer’s Guild, but after she flipped the chessboard on him multiple times, he tied her up with rope and hung her from a tree.

From that day on, he swore never to touch that damned game again.

What relieved Ethan was that, thanks to Iris and Eris’ honest personalities, they played this stupid game properly—no cheating, no tantrums. It was refreshing for someone with normal thought processes like him.

‘Speaking of which, where’s Yunyun? I remember someone delivering a letter half an hour ago, and Yunyun went down to get it. But she still hasn’t come back up. Could the sender have been a human trafficker?’

‘But my Enemy Detection didn’t react at all? That’s really weird…’

Puzzled, Ethan picked up the coffee on the table in front of him and prepared to take a sip.

*BAM-BAM-BAM!*

The sound of heavy footsteps echoed through the floor. Thanks to Enemy Detection, Ethan knew it was Yunyun—but why was she in such a hurry? Normally, Yunyun was a bit clumsy, but she was still a calm girl.

Now she seemed frantic and panicked. ‘Is it that time of the month?’ Ethan thought mischievously as the coffee slowly slid down his throat.

*BANG!*

The living room door was thrown open violently. Just as Ethan expected, Yunyun stood there, her face bright red—embarrassed yet seemingly resolved to do something with fierce determination.

”Ethan! I want to have your child!”

”Pfft—! Cough-cough-cough!” The coffee in his mouth was wasted as Ethan nearly choked!

*CRASH!*

Eris and Iris’ chessboard flipped over. The two of them turned their heads in unison, like unoiled robots, their gazes locking onto Yunyun, who had just made that shocking declaration.

‘Don’t be scared, just go for it!’

Ethan politely wiped the coffee from the corner of his lips, then calmly looked at Yunyun and spoke in a composed tone:

“Sorry, my ears must be acting up. Could you repeat that?”

”I want to have Ethan’s baby!”

‘Okay! I must still be dreaming. Might as well enjoy it.’

“Alright! First, I want a cute daughter who looks just like Yunyun!” Ethan chuckled casually under Eris and Iris’ sharp glares.

”No! The first one has to be a boy!” Yunyun even argued back, completely missing Ethan’s teasing tone. Normally, she’d be blushing and stammering—though right now, her face was already red enough to faint.

”Wait a second! What’s going on?! Why is Yunyun suddenly talking about having kids?! Did Ethan do something evil again?!”

Eris’ expression darkened slightly, her icy glare making Ethan shiver as if he were some unholy demon!

”What do you mean ‘evil again’?! I’ve always been an open, kind, and honest hero, okay?!”

This had to be refuted. Even if Ethan’s actions sometimes resembled a tyrannical Devil King’s, everything he did was out in the open!

…Probably?

”Onii-sama… do you prefer that over a cute little sister?”

Iris’ eyes shimmered with tears, her pitiful gaze filling Ethan’s heart with guilt.

‘Wait, prefer what? Someone like Yunyun?’

‘Ah! That’s right. Compared to adorable Iris, Yunyun’s… generous assets are indeed very appealing.’

Looking at Iris’ tearful face, Ethan reluctantly shifted his gaze—which had been comparing Iris’ cuteness to Yunyun’s other qualities—back to Yunyun.

‘Yes! A youthful face with a mature body! I like Yunyun!’

”P-Please don’t misunderstand! It’s because of this…! No! That’s not…! Ugh, just…!”

Yunyun was so flustered she couldn’t speak properly, her adorable face burning red. The three of them could only suppress their mixed emotions.

”Don’t rush. Relax. If there’s something you can’t say, just take your time…”

Eris having shed her dark aura, returned to her gentle goddess demeanor, easing Yunyun’s tension slightly.

”Please read this letter! You’ll understand what I mean!”

It was the letter Yunyun had retrieved half an hour ago. Who knew what she’d been doing all this time—probably reading it over and over.

Ethan took the letter and opened it, while Eris and Iris leaned in to read together.

The contents were as follows:

A fortune teller predicted that the Crimson Demon Clan would be attacked by the Devil King’s army, and soon after, Yunyun’s hometown—Crimson Demon Village—would be destroyed. Thus, she was urged to continue the clan’s lineage by marrying a good man and having a child. This child would grow up to become a hero who would take revenge and defeat the Devil King.

‘How old would this hero be? Three years old? What if I have a son with Yunyun, let him grow to age three, then send him to defeat the Devil King while I stay home and make a daughter with Yunyun?’

Ethan’s thoughts took a dark, Devil King-like turn.

Iris read the letter carefully, then suddenly her eyes sparkled as she reached the end. Her cute little face lit up with an unprecedented happy smile.

”Big Sister Yunyun! Look at the end of the letter!”

Written there was:

”The Heroic Tale of the Crimson Demon Race – Chapter One”
Author: Arue

There was even a note explaining that because postage was expensive, the letter had been slipped into the chief’s mail—and a second letter was already planned!

”Damn you, Arue!!”
