2025-08-23 04:21:46 +0000 UTCFrom what i have read the reason the USA works the left side is because most wrestlers tend to be right handed so when they make a comeback its more believable if their right arm is fine, early Puroresu (Japanese wrestling) worked both sides to make it look more "real" they are now more Americanized. Lucha Libre is older than modern American wrestling. 1863 is recognised as the birth of Lucha Libre with Enrique Ugartechea. So will have developed its own way first. I am obsessed with the history of wrestling. Great video.
