Will then joined Don and replaced Kenny. Kenny is the face and will is the heel. One of my favorites matches in recent years.

With a particularly famous match between them in NJPW putting them and their style of wrestling on the map. Since then Ospreay would become one of the biggest stars in Japan before joining AEW and immediately cementing himself as one of the top guys there. Meanwhile Ricochet would go on to sign with WWE. However while he had a decent run, many feel like it didn't really live up to the hype and expectations people had for him going into it. Now after leaving WWE and signing with AEW, he soon finds himself reunited against his old rival and wanting to prove that he hasn't been left behind and is still on his level.

Shawn would be incredibly successful as a singles wrestler, winning the World title multiple times and becoming the first WWF Grand Slam champion. Jannetty didn't find the same success as a singles wrestler though, having only held the IC title for 2 weeks before losing it. Being the Jannetty of a team is now synonymous with being less successful than your tag team partner. Necro took advantage and stiffed (real punches etc) some of Joe's students. So Joe was pissed and out for revenge. (i remember it sort of bluring the lines between Shoot and Kayfabe) not a deathmatch but it is a War.

Anyways I’ve been loving your reactions so far and i’m very glad I became a member🫶🫶🫶!

This match is from ECW Big Ass Extreme Bash 1996. The rules of the match are simple. There will be no disqualifications and you must pin your opponent 2 times to win. Rey is my favorite wrestler ever and this is my favorite match of his. Not his best just my favorite. Rey is usually the smaller guy so he always fights from underneath. This is a rare match when he's completely even with his opponent. They're both wearing red outfits with masks.
