Which is a shame because he’s SO versatile as an artist and we see why’s he’s the best rn IMO. However the man did call himself a hypocrite on one album and “not your savior” in another so 🤷🏽♂️😂. And this album should’ve ended with “Good Credit”, that was song 15 perfect way to end it with all these damn filler songs of nonsense lol

I also said it was odd that people were pressed about this collab, I like the songs. I just pointed out his message on “Watch The Party Die”, anyone who actually understood that song knows that wasn’t JUST directed at Drake, it was criticizing the industry as a WHOLE and the type of music that Carti himself makes. But agreed, I see nothing wrong with him making fun music either, I prefer it 😂

It was my first Cart album listen and beats and the features definitely carried the entire album. Even with 30 songs it sounded rushed and unfinished. Im still not a fan of Carti because I’m not sure where his talents lie. - He’s not a vocalist, uses auto tune - He’s not a lyricist - The producers make his beats! (Which I like) - He try’s to blend rock and hip hop but I don’t think it’s executed well. - He raps off beat. - And EVERY performance I’ve seen of him he’s not even rapping. He’s using a backing track and jumping around on stage.

Not comin at you Dee but Kendrick beefed with Drake and Drake alone and only addressed his foolishness. Dassit. Im pretty sure he'd touch on these people's wrong doings if they ever got into it too. Collaboration =/= condoning. People just love fake outrage and hot takes. I see nothing wrong with him havin some fun and wanting actual balance restored in the game vs completely gettin rid of one style which is too big now (Unfortunately)

For example, I don’t really like Rihanna’s singing, but the more I listen to her, the more I get used to it. I eventually just accept her voice. I don’t know if it’s just me, but whether I like an artist’s voice really depends on the artist. That’s how I feel with playboy carti, his voice is annoying but it’s something I can see myself getting used to it.

He never really rapped about anything, but it used to be a vibe. Now, it’s really nonsensical and straight-up BS that he’s talking about. 😂😭 I don’t understand him most of the time. 3. Most of these beats are produced very well actually. 🔥🔥🔥 Its just the cadence or melody of the raps arr just not it, on top of the beat. 4. a LOT of these repetitive hooks and choruses where really sleep inducing tbh. 5. album couldve been a solid body of work without all the filler music. A 16 track album with these songs included wouldve been way better: EVIL J0RDAN, MOJO JOJO, RATHER LIE, BACKD00R, MUNYUN, GOOD CREDIT, TRIM, TWIN TRIM 6. i dont know who Swamp Izzo is but he sounds a lot more interesting on this album than Carti himself imo‼️ Overall a mediocre album! 2/10. Nothing he put out now can top his first 2 albums imo😩🔥🔥

I agree that he could’ve at least took off like 14 to 15 songs and made it a 14 to 15 song album. I didn’t care for almost all of the songs on the album, the only ones I kinda like are Good Credit (that intro and outro pisses me off some times) and Wake Up F1lthy. Another thing that I agree with you on is that the production on these songs be carrying him, and that’s mainly why I like those two songs.

The way I feel about this album is how I felt about Whole Lotta Red when it first dropped. I wasn’t feeling it then over time certain songs grew on me a lot. I’m a huge fan of Die Lit/Self-Titled Carti era and I recognized back in 2020 that Carti is gonna give us a new version of him each release. With that said, I don’t think this album will grow on me as much as Whole Lotta Red did. Happy to see some of my favorite leaks on this album though like Evil Jordan, K Pop (Ketamine), and HBA.

The future track was good. And the beats in general need a backbrace for all the carrying they were doing. I'd blast the instrumental fasho tho. Carti just sounds like a toddler half the time lol. And I would like a guest verse till he hopped back on the track. I hope his fans love this because waiting 5 years for this is something.

Didnt need the excessive Travis and Future feats. 😂😂 I really wish Wayne's verse on Radar woulda made the album and they kept Gunna on Vibes. The features needed some variety but other than that, I can make a smooth 14-16 song playlist out of this so this cool in my book.
