SPRING SEASON IS HERE!!!

Hello!! I hope everyone started this spring season with joy! Over here in Spain we have welcomed the warmer weather and the lil bees who are flying around looking for those beautiful colorful flower, now more visible than ever 🌸

Spring season is defenitely the season here in my region: we have all our regional festivities. In fact, I live in the only place in Spain with 2 weeks of vacation instead of 1 because of it! Everybody is preparing for it. We have "semana santa" full of religious festivities (our famous "procesiones" were people carry big statues of religious figures around the towns and cities) and the "las fiestas de primavera" (spring festivities) and there is were the FUN begins!!!!

In case you are interested: Over here we have one day, the famous "bando de la huerta" (The page is in spanish unfortunately, but maybe in your browser you can translate it :/ )where people dress up in traditional clothes and go out to drink, see some parades, and so much more. To be honest I can see how, over the years, these traditions have faded with time, and now people mostly focus on the fact that it's the only day of the year were drinking on he streets is legal. It becomes very messy in the main cities, but if you go out to the small towns, oh, it's still as beautiful and meaninglfull as ever 🌸. People eat our traditional food, served in establishments called "barracas" (omfg its GOOOOOOD, it's all meat, dry meat, fried and baked things... woah) 

And my beloved, my favourite, the best dish to have ever graced my tongue: Migas:  I cannot express how good this is. I can't. It's good. It's fried bread dough with meat and green peppers (at least I like it with those) and you HAVE to eat it drinking a lot of water, or tomatoes/cucumbers so that it doesnt hurt your stomac cuz it grows over there. With cucumber its so delicious ✨✨✨✨

Anyway, it's a very special holiday. My partner is coming to visit me during these holidays and I'm going to show him around and enjoy a deserved break with him 💕 I've been hyping him up so much about the food, I hope he enjoys it! This means, however, that from the 15th all the way to the 27th  will be 2 weeks of "premade" art and content. In other words, I will not be able to draw requests or work on commissions 😞 Maybe one or 2 days I'll do something because, like, I love art, but that's it.
