With that out of the way, just a few days ago, I have realized just how few days there are in this month. I also realized that I have no reward prepared for my patrons.
After thanking my past self for releasing 3 animations this month for free, and not saving single one of them for a situation like this, I have dropped everything I was doing and used the last 3 or 4 days to work on this. I had no plan or story in mind, I was just making it up as I went along. As a result, the animation makes no sense.
I also had the bright idea to use a lot of smoke simulation in this, a decision that cost me a ridiculous amount of crashes. I really didnt think I was gonna finish this on time. I simply dont have the time left to fix all the mistakes that made themselfs apparent after the final render. So yeah, the animation is pretty crap.
Anyway, another reward is coming in a bit, right after I... you know... actualy make it. Then I might finally catch some Zs and then finish the last requests tomorrow.

2021-02-28 00:22:47 +0000 UTCObviously, I can only speak for myself. However, with that out of the way: There's no need to put out content just for the sake of putting it out. There's already been content this month. A bit of planning ahead here goes a long way and I'm sure you've realized that. Also, a short animation is just fine. Or a drawing, a sketch, whatever, really. Far as I know it doesn't say anywhere how much or how many. I'd rather you make content you're comfortable with than stress yourself going from A to B to C just for the sake of having X amount of posts, rewards, or whatever. Not to mention the charges are irregular in the first place and there's been months with content but without charge. I'm here to stay and throw some bucks along the way. And that's not even going into how many requests are being taken up. As for the animation: It's cute in a heartwarming way, and it does tell a story. You're probably just talking yourself down here. It made sense. You could follow the characters, their emotions, and the protective instinct that led to the transformation. I can't say much about the smoke, but that's a lesson learnt, I suppose? Anyways, I'm getting rambly here. Not a great talker, really. But I did want to make the point and give the feedback. There's no obligation. I'm here to support, not to extort.
