Ah well. At least we have nice candles to light the way for the Hunger to invade. Boulders was probably the sleeper choice but sadly Belissar hasn’t seen Indiana Jones. Strangely, Tower Lord doctrine apparently didn’t include booby-trapping the places of worship? Or did it? If we count the Towers as places of worship…then it does, doesn’t it?
Anyways!
What will the First of the Fifth do with the shortcuts? Will Beeswax Candles have any use for the bees? Will Belissar roll all commons once again? Tune in next time, to find out!

Turn out boht bees honey and wax are compost able.. and flowers like rich soil.. in moderation. Would flowers moster like magial compost pile as crowing place? So long it's made by bees...

And what are they're using for it atm? Can they're use bee waxs to give exstra effect? Maddening honey is obvious example? Can bees like that make wax whit same effect if they want to? And if Maddening honey bee make wax in hive full of Maddening bees while burning Maddening honey candles will it bee exstra efficient.

2024-07-11 21:07:46 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter, loved it. And we're getting new room features! Awesome. So we got special beeswax candles. Nice. So many options. The gravity flower could be used to make gravity wax, tho we should get a gravity queen before we try and mass produce that. I imagine a gravity candle would mess with the local gravity like the flower does. While not too detrimental to the turtle shades any flying shades would have their flying disrupted. Regular Mana candles would probably last longer and produce more light and warmth. Fire Mana candles would produce a lot more light and heat, unsure if it'd burn faster or slower. Can only really know once we get some. Earth Mana candles would be interesting, but I don't have a clue what'd they do. Earth Mana typically symbolizes strength and stability, so maybe they'd be harder to break and last longer. They might also light up underground places better? Poisonous and medicinal candles could work like incense, spreading their respective poison or medicine into the air around them, probably more effective in enclosed areas. Does the slime flower produce slime Mana? We did get a slime bee from using the slime flower pollen, so maybe. Either way a slime candle would probably be malleable into different shapes so that'd be cool. I don't know if I'm forgetting any Mana types, lol. The candles would probably have different color flames too. Regular Mana would be a bright orange. Fire Mana, either a deep red or maybe even white? Earth Mana, makes me thing of either brown or green lights. Poisonous would probably be a toxic neon green, and medicinal a light pink. Slime would either be transparent or light blue. Can't wait to see what else belissar ends up choosing. Love this story.
