Ah that statement is referring to the fact that they can move the pups onto land and not get attacked by Dread Orcas to begin with, rather than the idea that 00P can cure the Dread Plague. And well, from their perspective, if 00P is going around turning people into monsters...do you really want to ask her that directly? And would they trust the answer?

Also, is there a reason that they don't ask her about whether the pup is a monster?
