Liu, was a shy petite and almost anorexic woman who had recently emigrated to Moonvale. After having flunked her university course she had no other option but to return to her destroyed homeland in the east (since the the great war with the machines). Completing the procedure would earn her a life long stipend and any health/medical or livelihood assistance for the rest of her life.
