update + animal crossing

hello everyone! its been a minute since I updated. 

you may have noticed im behind on getting this months rewards up--its been a hard month! ive been in the middle of a very large move that has been extremely taxing (maybe more so than I thought it would be) and its left me hard pressed to complete artwork, especially with my processes that are both digital and traditional. 

for the last 2 weeks, i have been living out of a suitcase without a house and jumping between various homes people have offered while I wait to be able to move into my new place, so ive had a limited ability to effectively work. i am definitely behind, but I am ready to start coloring everything and hope to have it all done in the next few days.

additionally, I will not be advertising these publicly this month, and will do so at a later date. i made a brief note on my twitter, but I dont feel comfortable advertising irrelevant cartoon animals while other more pressing events are happening, and other voices need to be heard. 

It will likely be in july when I release these on my store, but know that everyone who was pledged to the $10-$15 tiers this month are good to go! you will receive these illustrations as normal once they are completed and produced.

regarding aprils (sly cooper) rewards: I placed the order for the prints earlier this month, but because of covid delays, they did not reach my previous address in time. they are being forwarded to my new address, however that is taking some time and I still have not received the prints. i currently have the stickers which arrived a couple days ago, and I will be shipping out the $10 patron rewards in a few days after ive moved in and unpacked my shipping supplies (and a desk to work on). i will update everyone once the prints come in--im so sorry for the delays! 

I know some of you have reached out with concerns regarding shipments; i hope the above answers some of your questions, but I will be working to send out responses as soon as im able.

i feel like as soon as i can move into my new place and settle in, ill be able to get into a new post college routine. ive felt terrible with how bumpy and delayed all my work has been this year, but i suppose some of that is a given when im trying to graduate college and move while a world pandemic disrupts life. im very tired, but im trying my best to work through everything, and I still look forward to life on the other side of all this chaos.

in the mean time, here are some progress shots! i cant wait to finish these up, and I hope you guys enjoy them. Ill be back soon with more updates and the finished pieces. thank you for hanging in there with me through this busy and stressful time!
