Status Update

Hey guys~!

First off, HOLY SHIT! I'm about to cross 200 Patrons~! Thank you so much, everybody~! ^3^ I'm so inspired by all your support! Which is why I wanted to let everybody know what I'm doing with that:

So, I took that advice you guys gave me: I said I was gonna buy Photoshop, but after a quick trial, I decided against it. I still couldn't paint for shit in Photoshop, and it would frequently stop working with my tablet. Fuck that~! >3< I just got a Clip Studio Paint trial and am trying that out instead. So far, it rocks~! Thanks for the suggestions guys~!

The 2nd thing I was gonna invest your patron money in was a better tablet... but that expense kinda took care of itself~! o_o So, I think as soon as I decide on software, Linty's studio will be back up-and-running at full power~!

About the poll: Thank you all for giving feedback~! It was very insightful! I'm glad to know that the Nephilim comic is the clear winner there, because that's what I wanted to do anyway~! >w< I've already been doing so much pre-production, you guys have no idea. o_o I have written a dozen potential scripts, I've got spreadsheets of theological research, I've got timelines and bios and celestial languages and a whole ton of shit that should have no place in a hentai comic~! >w< So my point is, you can't see it, but there's a ton of comic pre-production happening back here~! I hope to start that up for real in the new year~!

About commissions: ...soon, I want to open them, I just have to get out of art-debt first~ (I owe a lot of people art still >_< sorry~)

And finally, I just wanted to lay out my intents for you guys! So, in case it's not obvious: art has never been my full-time job, it's always been a side hobby for me. I tried to do it professionally many times, but my art was never good enough... u_u My point is, I have to work a full-time job to survive, and do this stuff in the few spare hours I have each night. I don't mind, that's been my entire adult life, but I'll tell you all this: this is what I would rather do, and if it ever becomes financially viable for me to do this full-time, I will~ ^w^ That's a pipe dream at the moment, but I wanted you guys to know where my heart is, and it is definitely here with you, not at my job~

I have a lot of free time coming up for the holidays~! I hope to make a ton of stuff for you! Have a happy holidays, everybody~! And thank you for all your support~!! ^o^
