The writers of the show wanted to do a bottle episode with this one, meaning that everything happened in one place, so part of Joey and Chandler getting into a silly argument over the armchair or Rachel not knowing what to wear is because they needed an excuse for the characters to stay in the apartment the whole episode. Hope that helps understand their behaviour a little bit π. I think that it gave us iconic moments such as Joey showing Chandler all his clothes or the "commando" part ππ Love your reactions!

But you know at a certain point I would have just left alone. It's important to him and he should have just left, with or without them. It sucks but what else can he do. Maybe then they would realize that they better hurry up. And I don't mind at all that he snapped at Rachel. Rachel was being childish.
