I kind of love the parallels between Killian and Rumple, both choosing what kind of men they want to be in recent episodes. Killian ultimately choosing good and sacrificing himself for those he loves, whilst being a Dark One. When in contrast, Rumple, who wasn't even a Dark One but a mortal man when he (once again) chose to betray everyone and become the ultimate Dark One.

2025-03-03 22:49:39 +0000 UTCI know this show does the love at first sight thing a lot, but something about this backstory just felt especially unserious lol I think Rumple was so honest with Belle for once because her love is no longer his only tie to her. To him the baby means he has a reason to be present in her life no matter how she feels about him. He made his decision about the kind of man he wants to be when he became the Dark One again and now Belle can't simply walk away from him for it.

2025-03-02 21:59:15 +0000 UTCSorry for the off-topic post, but I saw that Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn from Buffy The Vampire Slayer) passed away a few days ago. Even before Buffy, I watched her in a lot of stuff growing up like Harriet the Spy and The Adventures of Pete & Pete, so she was a big part of my childhood. Very sad news.
