What I love about Woozi and Bumzu’s songwriting and producing is their abilities of storytelling within the albums. As if there is a reason why the songs are in the track order they are on the album. Seventeen has a running joke of calling their travelling van ‘Carnival’ and they do refer back to that name sometimes in Going Seventeen or other shows. There’s also a vlog series on YT done by the members themselves called ‘SVT Record’ with a few eps that includes the behind the scenes of _World MV filming if you’re interested in checking them out! Other eps are basically just vlogs that the members recorded while they were on Be The Sun Tour as well as a few other random overseas vlogs~

First, the reversed puzzle pieces "Shadow" and "Fear" signify that in the current world they are in, there are no shadows which means fears, which lead to conclusion that tjis world is aome kind of fantasy refuge from their fear. Also, all the clocks submerged in water. This means stopped time, like Peter Pan. However, Vernon is the first to realize the absence of shadows while lying down, and everyone begins to notice the oddities of this world. When Jun retrieves the clock from the water, time starts flowing again, and they confront the closed-off reality. Gradually, everyone's fears become apparent - being left alone, the chairs turned away from stag and so on. finally, they fall back into reality. And in "Hot,"MV , it signifies breaking free from those fears= sun, and more over, break the sun. Fun point, you can find a little piece of drawing of Hot MV place in the wall drawing when hidden drawing comes out.

You will see that each member is basically being watched 24/7 as they are the stars of the show and it shows them progressively growing more frustrated and trying multiple times to escape, only to be blocked. Wonwoo tried to leave on a bus and the passengers blocked him, Woozi tried to leave in a car but it coincidentally didn't work and everyone on the street surrounded him. Vernon was continuously trying to run and hid and was physically held back, DK knocked over a lamp which revealed a hidden camera. Seungkwan was being watched through CCTV in the office and all the workers watched him. Other signs of the world being fake/ all being a set up include the night sky that Dino was watching was glitching and flashing through different constellations and it started raining only in one spot while Wonwoo was at the bust stop. There are lots of other clues and significant parts and even bigger references to the Truman Show that you guys can re-watch and find for yourselves but the main takeaway which you guys pretty much figured out was that they are stronger together. They all tried to fight and leave on their own but were only able to successfully do so when they came together at the end. Seventeen go through hardships and are in the public eye 24/7... they were watched through cameras even during their trainee years. It was all very difficult and sometimes becomes too much... but they got through it all and continue to overcome it because the members have each other.

But do SEVENTEEN ever disappoint. Umm never. Once all mv videos are watched doing albums and lyrics would be better because then you can react to all dance practices even to b sides as you’d know the songs then from all albums? Honeslty in Darling Wonwoo don’t wanna say goodbye part makes me cry every time like that line right when his mum passed. Honestly all hearts to him and his family. He’s such a strong boy. Even all the members in their time of lose in that era and they couldn’t take their own time to heal as they had to promote but they were all there for one another.

2023-09-14 04:36:48 +0000 UTCfuck my life really became one of my favourite svt title tracks even though it's still so new. i think i appreciate that the lyrics are a bit negative at times (but positive overall). toxic positivity is definitely a thing and it can be a bit tone deaf to pretend everything is always great if you just choose to see the bright side. i think it's valid to feel upset with your circumstances sometimes, life is hard for a lot of people for various reasons, but ultimately you need to actively choose to fight for your life, which is the message of this song. the fml album is great in general, fuck my life and i don't understand but i luv u are my favs from the album! highly recommend you guys to watch seventeen's episode on iu's palette now that you've heard both hot and darling (and since you've watched the eps with hobi, yoongi and taehyung)! also would love for u guys to dive into solo work or even unit songs (outside of the conventional hiphop/vocal/performance units)! i really recommend bittersweet (mingyu and wonwoo with leehi) and q&a (coups, vernon, woozi with ailee). both of these have mvs! also bss!

Then they turned that part into a dance challenge and made the rest of the members shake their also :D

That's lovely🩷 To help you with the MVs: - DARLING MV connects to the story of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. If your familiar with it, they don't have shadows in the Neverland. They're in a different world where time is practically non existent, they don't grow up and can just play... But of course, that's not the reality. They have to grow up and face the real world. - FxCK MY LIFE MV is inspired by the movie 'The Truman Show'... If you go back to the MV, you'll notice all of them were surrounded by cameras or trying to escape. Just like how Truman wanted to go out from the made-up world. There are also particular scenes that are visually based in the movie. Both the movie and this MV go too deep about society and how a person's life is affected by it.
