2023-09-12 06:20:32 +0000 UTCthese songs are so iconic now, i'm so glad you guys finally got to see the behind/making of it! i agree that it's really nerve-wracking to suddenly sing in front of a group of (really talented) people, even if you're a professional. i think they're very comfortable around each other and make it a point to compliment each other afterwards so that they can feel encouraged and not as embarrassed. although, in jun's episode of lee mujin service he mentioned he does sometimes feel pressured when singing in front of his members (even though we all know he is so good, he's still human). about the editing of going seventeen, they definitely have a team that organizes and edits the content, but seventeen works really closely with this team and hold lots of meetings together (all of the members + gose staff), so pretty much all their input and opinions get reflected in the content. joshua and vernon mention this on the psick show if i remember correctly (the show that namjoon also went on!) also, this is just my opinion but i think they get a lot of input because they're honestly really good at what they do - they have a good sense for what fans would enjoy (this includes variety content, but also their music, choreographies, etc), which also benefits the company. from the company's point of view, it's not a bad idea to let them lead if they're able to do a good job at it (self-produced is a nice label if they're good producers!). it also helps that seventeen and their staff have a great relationship. seventeen loves their staff and based on the editors' comments as well as the way seventeen talks to/about them, it feels like they're really good friends and very comfortable with each other. many of their variety episodes are based on something that a member mentioned that they would like to do/try and they alternate with every episode "starring" a different member. josh, you're right that it was coups who took a mental health break back then. this time it's for a physical injury, and I'm a bit bummed he can't make it for youth over flowers, but his recovery is the most important! regarding mental health breaks, I'm glad he was able to do that - seungkwan and twice jeongyeon too! i had originally written a long rant about how every idol deserves as many breaks as they need, and about how coups and namjoon have been put in very stressful positions as their groups' respective leaders, but since my comment is already so long, I'll save the details for another time. anyway, I'm so relieved to see coups (and namjoon) happier these days. they've been carrying the world on their shoulders and I'm glad they can finally love and enjoy the lives they've built for themselves and their teams.

They all came in, woozi made the beat, DK got the melody, Seungkwan Jeonghan & Hoshi got the lyrics and it's a done deal lol. I love how they bounce ideas off each other, like no wonder all their songs are amazing. I think a few other groups did this later on, but if I remember correctly SVT were the first. The pauses between their lines because of the audio delays and background pictures had me crying laughing. Watching our precious boys in the studio writing and creating songs together. I can honestly watch and listen to them creating so much magic in the Universe Factory. Also so funny to think SEVENTEEN performed the Going SEVENTEEN intro choreography at CARAT Land 2022, and the Outro is on SEVENTEEN Follow Tour Setlist. You guys should check out OT13 of Performance Unit’s song Highlight, High-Octane performance of Very Nice Press Play on the Grammy Channel, and the Live Band Session of Rock with You. I also hope you get a chance to check out the Ochestra Version of Don’t Wanna Cry, Adore U Performance at KCon LA 2019, and Ready to Love Live Performance Open MIC. Also if you would like to see Woozi playing music in his Universe Factory, then I would recommend when he is on Weverse Live because the whole time it is Woozi just chilling out with CARATS in his Universe Factory and playing music, and SEVENTEEN Weverse Lives are equipped with subtitles thanks to our Leader SEVENTEEN and CARATS S.Coups. Also you do not have to worry about S.Coups. He is just out with an injury, but he did go to SEVENTEEN’s Follow Tour in Tokyo 2 Day Concerts to support his members in a wheelchair because he missed his members and because he one of the best Leaders.
