These entrances of Jang UK are so ๐ฅ wasn't so sure how the main actress change was gonna work but now I'm ok with it. Can't wait to see what season two brings!

2023-03-22 02:39:47 +0000 UTCHahaha I love Maidservant Kim as well! She's so pretty ๐ I knew her before this drama so it's cool to see her character here. Her name is Oh Na Ra which means โlong live our country' and she's 48 years old! I knew her from the Korean TV show โSixth Senseโ where she is one of the members that must distinguish one โfakeโ among other places, items, persons etc only based on the given clues and their instincts every week. She is one of the members alongside Jessi (Rapper), Yoo Jaesuk (Running Man) and many others. I would love it if youโd react to it because it's super amazing how the production crew built a restaurant or even a building to trick the members because they have to find which is the fake one out of the 3-4 places they go. It can also be a person, who will lie about who they really are to trick them, it's so crazy! Last year was the 3rd season! If you're not reacting to it, Iโd recommend that you watch on your own as well just for fun ;) Oh Na Ra is so cute in that TV show too hahaha I think she is one of the actresses from the famous drama SkyCastle which I havenโt watched yet! Now knowing that Josh is attracted to her, I'm going to look at him whenever she appears on screen ๐คฃ

He's a grown ass man ๐ฎโ๐จ and our Naksu is so cute, keeping her options open looking for Yul lol. Season 2 was by far my favorite! Everyone in kdramaland was iffy about it because of the actress change but she did so amazing in her role, she gained a lot of fans. And that's not her in backstreet rookie but I can see why you said that. Anyway y'all are catching on quick, cause it took me 35 rewinds with that flashback of Master Lee haha. Can't wait for the weekend ๐๐ฝ also that talk at the end about Yul was hilarious LOOOL

I understand she has gone through a lot but I hate the way she goes about things and downplays Choyeon but won't let Choyeon do what she wants to do like marry Danggu. Yul doesn't recognize Naksu because he only really knew her when they were young and he saw her once when she was dead years ago. He only recognized her because of the bird whistle. He didn't have a big enough connectio with her to remember her face at that point.

2023-03-20 16:09:02 +0000 UTCI finished part two last night (I started this show last year lol), and I've been such a big fan of Jae Wook (uk) since his first role in Memories of Alhambra. If I'm being honest, part 1 was hard for me to get through (the show is good so I don't know why), but Jang uk in part 2 WOW I was literally giggling and kicking my feet because of his charisma. I love Jung Somin (mudeok), so part one was like my favorite people falling in love but with this Naksu, god her character matches Jang uk so well. This part is gonna drive you insane in both ways

This is not a spoiler but something that the show writers have said in an interview prior to Part 2. The full title of part 2 is Alchemy Of Souls: Light and Shadow. 'Uk' means Light while Naksu's real name 'Yeong' means Shadow. So basically, the show title is after their name. Just letting you know since non-korean speakers would not catch this

The reason why others can recognize the real Naksu's face is because most of us are kdramas maniac that actually know the actress or those who have read news about Go Yoonjung joining as main lead prior to part 2 airing. I can see why new kdrama viewers would be confuse. Lady Jin does not lock Naksu/Jin Buyeon because she worries people would recognize her as Naksu, but more like she doesn't want Naksu regains her memories while walking around and going to places she used to visit. Something to take note from Lady Jin and Master Lee's conversation, only her face morphed into Naksu's while other aspects like blood, body etc are Jin Buyeon's. In that 2 second shot of Jin Mu's flashback of Naksu, you could see Naksu is really tall (even taller than Jinmu). She even had different eyebrow shape. (kudos to the makeup artist XD) Also, Seo Yul only met Naksu as young teenager and then saw her dead body in Songrim once where he only recognize her because of his bird whistle. Others who have seen Naksu's dead body are Park Jin, Master Heo Yeom and probably Sangho (Park Jin's right handman). Park Jin and Sangho also had fight with Naksu in episode 1 part 1.
