Choi family is the one that starts using AOS with ice stone 200 years ago. The one that Jang Gang blocked is the spell that Shaman Choi use to steal the fog barrier/ice stone energy. He really is the one that started the whole thing and then disappear for like 20 years. Yul and Naksu's goodbye is beautiful. A beautiful goodbye full with double meaning that only them and viewers understand. He is not bringing her to Seoho fortress because Naksu no longer exist. She let go of her plan and decided to live as Mudeok. She also thanked Yul for everything. Yul accept it and said he will make sure this time his wound will heal properly, referencing to his legs that never heal correctly and also to his heart (?). oh, also Jang Uk has the ice stone but he no longer has the energy to use it since he gave it all up to change the fog barrier into rain. Like he said, "It is just a stone now"
