With Mudeok and Uk saying "I like you" I remember Taehyung explaining that saying "I like you" is more meaningful to him than the Korean words for "I love you." It's a colloquialism that might not make sense to English speakers but according to Taehyung and how I see K-dramas play out, I love you said more freely and you say that to non-intimate people in your life like parents, friends, etc. But "I like you" is very specifically romantic so that's why a lot of K-dramas have couples say "I like you." So yeah, they were admitting their love for each other but it doesn't really translate to English as being deeper than "I like you."
