I know it's late and you probably won't read this, but I wanted to clarify your question regarding Denji's name although you might have found it out already. Most female characters in the series call him Denji-kun instead of just saying Denji, which I think is what you were constantly picking up from the dialogues. -kun is one of the honorifics typically used to call a male who is equal to or lower than yourself, like your classmate, colleague, subordinate, or one younger than you. Characters like Power and Aki don't use it on him. I said "typically" because there is a case when someone calls a female with -kun, but I won't go further in detail because that would confuse you at this point. Other than that, your pronunciation of Denji is perfectly fine. And thank you for your reactions!

2022-12-10 01:18:24 +0000 UTCi'd like to talk about some significant things implied in this ep. (i'm not giving any spoiler so don't worry) So makima WAS shot just as her men. Like the gun devil said that the devil hunters can't win against gun cuz they're still human after all, there's no way she's alive after clearly got shot in her head as long as she's human. She was definitely dead with her men in last ep. But in this ep, for some reason she just came back to life alone completely fine as if nothing happened and appeared behind the shooters. They get surprised and immediately point a gun, But later they're all found brutally murdered by her. After getting off the train, she simply expains that there was a shooting so clear up the bodies, and lies that she wasn't shot. She wants to keep a secret the fact she didn't die even after got shot. Most importantly, as a result of this incident, all the divisions became absorbed into division 4 which is makima's in charge. Basically the whole special divisions got under her control and she got to have a huge authority VERY OPPORTUNELY. It did her good only, which is suspectible enough to make think it's all planned by her or at least she knew this assault gonna happen but let it happen doing nothing. The devil hunter who handed the resignation letter had doubts about this and lastly asks her that how much of the happening did she anticipate, but makima chooses silence. Nevertheless, these are all just suspicion and there's no clear evidence she did something. This ep just implies she's very sus or may be up to something. Just by looking at her in a casual manner yet all of her men are dead, You can tell she's not normal. She's too calm and doesn't even seem to care.

2022-12-09 11:10:11 +0000 UTCSo about names : 1. The eye-patch women is Himeno (He - may - no) so she died. The nervous girl is Kobeni (Ko - bay - ni ) . 2. About denji name , his name only denji . The thing josh said i think its the -kun and -chan at the end of the name . Basically its just translation error(?) or maybe they dont want confuse people. How this calling work , you can read back my haikyuu message. At the end of that message ive already wrote how kun or chan or senpai work. If you guys accidentally deleted the massage i can send it back , just let me know.
