When I watched this drama, the most interesting thing was General Kim Shin(금산김씨). This is because the progenitor of my family’s surname, Geumsan Kim, was named Kim Shin and was a general. I wonder if the author knew this when he wrote it.

Goblin is not supposed to interfere in the life and death of humankind, but since he saved the people who shouldn't be saved, the Grim reaper who has to collect the dead and missing souls hate Goblin because he messed up the Grim reaper's job. It would be interesting to see their chemistry throughout the story :) Also, Kim Shin's nephew, Deok-hwa is a rich heir whose family has been caretakers of the goblin for many generations and the old lady (Samshin grandma) on the bridge is the goddess of birth and fate and takes on many forms in the drama. She can look old and young.

2021-12-14 06:18:31 +0000 UTCThis is my 4th time watching and don’t think I will get tried of it or the OST « BEAUTIFUL « that V did a cover for and JK sung on his VLive… both Main Actors have been Celebrity Actors for as long as I’ve been(2008) watching K-dramas if not longer. Chemistry Bromance with Goblin & Grim Reaper is Hilarious and Endearing. Plus you can’t beat those Handsome looks….. the story is confusing now but comes together later and the Water faucet is gonna flow…be prepared Josh, you think this Episode was weepy, keep the tissues near by cause it’s not over till the very end. I’m not gonna spoil it but just sit back for the rest of the episodes and watch you guys enjoy my favorite parts. I’ll see you guys later at the end of the Drama, So Enjoy! PS: the Young King is played by Kim Min Jae, one of V’s good friends from their pre-debut training days ( he’s a year younger, got his drivers license before V and a car too which He and V did an episode on the Bromance show together) Goblins Nephew is also a good friend of V.

2021-12-14 03:46:51 +0000 UTCAlso did some research lol and found out when this was filmed the girl the “goblins bride” she played as a 18/19 year old but actually was around 24 to 25 years old can you believe that she looks way younger lol 😆!!! Also I had a Theory about how since she’s the goblins bride isn’t she technically immortal as well or is like until she dies that she comes back to “life” you can say and then is inmortal idk just a theory I’m on episode 2 lol I only started watching it because of you guys!!!

2021-12-14 00:32:12 +0000 UTCI also had a hard time looking for this drama but it’s on VIKI (rakuten) and the subtitles are slightly different from where you guys are watching and I did notice the way the captions were said it was a bit more confusing to understand than on VIKI so maybe try watching on VIKI but if you can’t then where you guys are watching is totally fine as long as you guys get to watch it!!! 🤍

I’m pretty sure she’s supposed to be 19 and he’s of course immortal so he’s hundred’s of years old.

Fast forward 8 years later , she turns 9 and while she’s at school something happens to her mother and she dies. So she was able to see her mom before she crossed over.

(We call the season of Goblin lol) I'm excited to watch it with you guys in this winter!! (+ I fell in love with Gong Yoo (Goblin role) after watching this drama five years ago.)

In Korea, back in old days, when people want a child, we would pray to Samshin grandma because she's a kind of God who's in charge of pregnancy. (That means every human being is her child.) Although she's not a real grandma of the girl, was just a close neighbor, she could protect her from the Grim Reaper as she's also a type of God who can see and talk to Grim Reaper.
