succedeva anche a me perché probabilmente hai provato ad installare la cartella che hai scaricato da drive. apri la cartella su drive finchè non trovi un file che si chiama "Resin2FDM.zip" e prova con quella. Nel mio caso ha funzionato

Having issues installing the add-on. Have followed everything to install correctly, but it does not appear on my add-ons list to enable it Anybody else having a similar issue or able to assist? Running on blender 4.0 and have tried woth both lite and advanced versions

Jesse

its called different so I think that's the issue your plugin is trying to call a different add-on that doesn't exist on Mac. Mac its called stl_format_legacy /Users/dominicmcglinn/Library/App...der_org/stl_format_legacy/_init_.py

Dominic McGlinn

If you go the addons menu (same place you installed Resin2FDM) and search for 'STL Format' there should be an additional addon you can enable that will solve that. Not 100% how that all works on Mac though so might be different, let me know if that doesn't solve it and I can take a look. What blender and plugin versions are you using?

Jacob Grant

can export manually though

Dominic McGlinn

having some issues on macOS io_mesh_stl addon is not enabled. Please enable the STL addon in Preferences > Add-ons.

Lychee FIles are specific for the Lychee slicer software - they're usually provided so that people edit the supports for their Resin printers. Im pretty sure that those designers should also supply an STL version of the model with their supports.

Jacob Grant

Super nice stuff. I am not used to resin files and in Myminifactory I see that some designers provide lychee files for supported models. Is there any way to open them in blender to use your tool?

Can't wait to get some minis pumping out

Trey Hollis

Super work! Any ideas for a workaround if my computer can't run Blender? Seems that the onboard graphics won't cut it.

Citizen Rico

Good stuff man. Once in a Six Sided called you out again in his latest video.

FOUND A SOLUTION, Renaming the files during export seems to fix the issue

Manne

Update, its not based on the blender version, 4.0.2 and 4.0.1 had no difference between them

Manne

Great, ill look on my end, might be something with using blender 4.0.2 or something

Manne

Thanks! Will take a look asap

Jacob Grant

ive noticed an issue with the tool for the 4.0 lite version, trying to export the stl for the model itself runs into errors on a couple of lines: 288, 215 and 158. Just bringing this to attention

Manne

Brilliant stuff! Thanks for putting the effort in! Shame I broke the filament sensor ribbon cable on my A1 Mini the other day and currently waiting on a replacement so will have to wait to give this a go!
