PSA about tf tuesday/fff poll pics

2020 put me in a huge spiral where I barely drew anything and starting these up in 2021 as a way to force myself to draw turned out to be huge for me. It made me love drawing again, so thank you all for voting and participating.

My patreon was kinda small for a long time, and I ended up drawing a lot of the same peeps over and over in these poll pics. It was fun to feel like I was making others happy and myself too by including this small community in these silly ideas and junk. I don't take coms often unless I really vibe with the idea, so this felt like I was still having fun with others without the pressure of HAVING to do it since these poll pics aren't commissions.

But as my patreon grew and more peeps signed up for these higher tiers and participated in the polls, the size pool of characters to choose from also increased. Ofc naturally as the pool increases, the opportunity to be chosen decreases. This has started to make me think maybe I was letting lots of others down - but my intention for these polls wasn't cheap art. I really just wanted partners for images and to switch things up because believe it or not - I don't always feel like drawing myself xD

So I just want to make things clear - the purpose of the polls and asking for volunteers isn't cheap art. I'm sorry if you signed up thinking that would happen or somehow got that idea from somewhere. That's why I have never mentioned anything about guaranteeing art. There are opportunities to be chosen, yes, but it isn't guaranteed. I also wouldn't call them a patreon reward because they are not guaranteed.

As long as everyone is aware of this, I think we can continue with the polls and stuff. I really don't want to stop asking for volunteers but I also don't want the purpose of these polls and asking for volunteers to create this idea of getting cheap art. I apologize if any of my wording seems rude, I am not the best with words.

So thank you all for being a part of this. ^^ You have dramatically increased my quality of life with your support and made art fun for me. Whether you stay or go after this, I appreciate you being a part of the journey.
