2023-11-05 18:59:16 +0000 UTCGotta remember, its not just Shanks, its Luffy & Shanks. He'd get jumped by 2 yonko and their yonko crew. He could possibly handle 1 yonko solo, but 2 might be too much AND Law and Kid could possibly jump in as a chance to weaken another enemy.

When Shanks showed up at Marineford he shut that entire fight down and no admiral wanted to step up to fight him. Even despite Whitebeard being old and weakened he was still trading blows with admirals (and damn near everyone else there) and even being mortally wounded he could still send Akainu packing. This is why after this arc I feel like if Luffy went 1v1 against an admiral he wins or it's a draw.

2023-11-05 16:52:03 +0000 UTCYeah. Uta as a character and her backstory is canon, but the story of her meeting the Straw Hats etc. is not canon. Similar to Shiki (his backstory etc. is canon, but his involvement with the Straw Hats in Strong World isn't)

2023-11-05 16:08:42 +0000 UTCToei really sold us on the shanks part, compared to the manga it wasn’t hyped as it should been. Yes movies usually aren’t cannon but characters are and powers they use are stated to be. Uta was on a cover of one of the manga chapters a ways back, just like how shiki was in the movie and then they showed him in the anime finally when they talked about god valley.
