Predator: Hunting Grounds - Preying For A Better Game (Jimpressions)
Added 2020-05-03 13:45:11 +0000 UTCPredator: Hunting Grounds is a perfectly acceptable experience and I'm bored of it already, even though I like Predators (but not as much as Aliens, obviously).
While it can be fun to play as the titular Predator, the shtick gets old fast, especially due to the rest of the game being a mundane and repetitive first-person shooter. This isn't helped by the fact that most Predator players just jump down from the trees and hack away at the others.
All the tools are in place for an enthralling and tense Predator game, but the incentive to engage with it that way just isn't there.

You never know what real actual neuron firing brains are going to do. I think Bethesda's ideas that other players were going to be a good substitute for good old Fallout lore and interaction were just insane. Erm....nope.

It isnhars enough to balance 1v1, 4v4, and 1vM but to have a 1v4 balanced and fun is a bit of a misnomer. My guess is that the only way to have a lot of fun with it is to make a side totally unbalanced.
