The Jimquisition: Prepare For Titanfail

Let's look at why it all fell apart, and why this is a shitty thing in the wider scheme of things.

Don't wanna be that guy, but the barfing Ubisoft logo is really gross, it's just a bit much and kind of unpleasant. Otherwise great episode.

2016-11-08 03:28:26 +0000 UTCIt is playing out that way isn't it? I wouldn't be surprised. EA is practically synonymous with "bad people" these days, so much so doing everything in their power to murder a franchise doesn't sound out of step with them.

2016-11-07 21:46:50 +0000 UTCMy c̶o̶n̶s̶p̶i̶r̶a̶c̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶o̶r̶y̶guess is that one or more higher-ups at EA don't like the Titanfall property and deliberately contrived to have it release close to BF1 to scuttle it to make sure there is no Titanfall 3. I bought it based on Jim's earlier review. Wasn't planning on buying it to begin with. Figured it would be the same format as TF1 and it's not really my jam. The campaign is quite good.

OwlBoy,FF15,Dishonoured,Skyrim-hell even Sun+Moon on the way TtF2 gets pushed back even further on my want list until I see it on the Steam Summer sale next year at which point I look at it for $30 and still say "Nah" cuz I'm sick of buying steam sale games and never playing them. Sucks for them but EA set them up for failure. Great video Jim!
