So after the last 3 months of Patreon deciding to fuck their payment system (the only reason they exist as a company) I am making a mirror here on Subscribe star. There are 3 primary reasons:
a) Content Subscribestar has no restriction on fictional content (so they say), so as long as that lasts everything can go here, no need for the webpage hassle.
b) They accept (for now?) debit cards which apparently Patreon decided they wont... which is great for people who don't want porn on their receipt.. .
c) Patreon as a company are clearly contemptible of Adult content. The less I (and you) give them for jumping through their hoops, the better.
How will it work? They don't have Discord integration at the moment, so that is pretty much off the table, they also have no way of doing 3rd part authorization, so the website is a pain in the ass as well. On the plus side, if everything can just be posted here anyway, not a big deal. Their current structure is rudimentary, especially their post setup, so in the mean time will just have to make do.
The biggest issue is it has no back catalogue... If this becomes viable then I will make a back catalogue post of everything (just it will take a while).
So this will basically mirror the website, and see how it goes.
