【Poll】 What I’ve Felt While Using Sora2 /【アンケート】 Sora2を触ってみて思ったこと

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time experimenting with Sora2, and it’s been really fun!
What stands out to me the most is how easy and polished it feels.
It’s fascinating that I can create short videos with both visuals and audio in just a few minutes — it really sparks my creativity.

That said, Sora2 has strict limits: each clip can only be 10 seconds long, and all content must remain fully all-ages.
In contrast, Wan2.2 allows me to animate my own illustrations freely, with far greater creative freedom — but it takes an incredible amount of time.
Even a few seconds of animation can take hours, sometimes even days, to complete.

Recently, I had been working on Akira’s transformation animation in Wan2.2, but honestly, I couldn’t feel satisfied with how it turned out.
It reminded me how difficult and demanding it can be to make everything move exactly as I imagine.

Sora2 is still evolving, and some viewers might find it lacking for now.
But I’m genuinely excited to see how far it will go — and what kinds of TS animations might be possible as the technology continues to develop.

What do you think?
How does Sora2 feel to you compared to my Wan2.2 works?

I completely agree with you about enjoying the process of transformation itself! Originally, there just weren’t many works that depicted those kinds of scenes in detail, and I wanted to see them — so I started experimenting with AI to create them myself. That’s what led me to start making TSF works in the first place. Sora2 is probably trained on general anime data, and while it still has many limitations, I think there’s potential for interesting expressions with a bit of creativity. Also, since working only with Wan2.2 tends to leave long gaps between releases, I think using Sora2 for short clips in between is a good balance for me.

As I have said on Discord, I love the quality that you Wan2.2 generations provide, but as you said they are time consuming and can be a pain. Your Sora2 generations have definitely been better than most. "To Become a Knight Princess" and "Wish to be Popular" are some notable ones, with no jarring cuts and a show of actual transformation (even if it was just a bright light.) "The Dark Elf's Curse" was alright, but after being surrounded by the barrier, it just kinda cuts over the actual transformation and he's the elf now? At least you can infer transformation with the before and after being in relatively the same position. "The Power to Grant Wishes" doesn't really sit right with me. The Genie's snap definitely came from her fingers, and the magic didn't really obsure the dude, so when the jump cut to him turning around and being a woman, it didn't feel fluid and connected as a scene. I like the process of transformation, and alot of Sora2 tends to skip my favorite part, or does a bunch of jumpcuts to make a poorily definited scene that irk me. Diversity is good, and Sora2 just came out. If you could find a way to balance the quality of the transformation with the ease of use of Sora, then I'd be all for it. As of right now though, your Wan Gens are what I perfer. Maybe do a little bit of both! Give us a few fun Sora2 gens inbetween working on Wan gens bit by bit.
