Playing around with the new video generation AI “Sora2”/新しい動画生成AI『Sora2』で遊んでいます

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Sora2, a video generation AI developed by OpenAI.
It automatically creates both visuals and audio from text prompts, and I’m impressed by how naturally it can reflect the intended atmosphere.

I usually work with Wan2.2, which runs locally, but I was surprised by how polished Sora2 feels — it’s amazing that such natural videos can be made entirely on the web.

Although explicit content isn’t supported, it can still generate fitting voices and sound effects when the scene and dialogue are written carefully, which makes creating with it really fun.
Currently, the free version allows you to generate short 10-second clips, and each can be created in just a few minutes, making it easy and enjoyable to experiment with. ✨

After many trials, I finally completed three short transformation videos:

TS Magical Girl
A young man slips into a river and wakes up as a pink-haired girl.
A dark-haired boy visits an old mansion for a part-time job, but when he starts cleaning, he’s engulfed in light and turns into a young woman in a classic maid outfit.

All of them were created as experimental transformation animations using Sora2.

最近、OpenAIが開発した動画生成AI「Sora2」を試しています。
テキストでシーンを指示すると、自動で映像と音声を生成してくれるAIで、こちらの意図を結構自然に反映してくれるのが印象的です。

普段はローカルで動かせる「Wan2.2」を使っていますが、Sora2もかなり完成度が高く、ウェブ上でここまで自然な映像が作れるのかと驚かされました。

性的な表現はできませんが、セリフや演出を丁寧に指定すれば、それっぽい音声や効果音も生成してくれるので、作っていてとても楽しいですね。
現在は無料で試せるのが10秒ほどの短いシーンまでですが、数分で生成できるため、気軽に遊べるのも魅力です。

何十回も試行錯誤して、ようやく3本の短編動画が形になりました✨
