This enchanted amulet is adorned with a small, smooth gemstone known as a slumberstone. The slumberstone resonates with magical energy that enhances the potency of sleep-inducing spells. While wearing the amulet, you can cast the sleep spell using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Additionally, the spell is altered by these effects:
Improved Duration. The sleep spell has a duration of 1 hour instead of 1 minute.
Improved Upcasting. When you cast sleep using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, roll an additional 3d8 (instead of the normal 2d8) for each slot level above 1st.
Free Casting. You can cast sleep at a level equal to your proficiency bonus without expending a spell slot. Once this property of the amulet has been used, it can’t be used again until the next dawn.
