Good afternoon people, with the last post of the day! Some funny bts from my last shoot with Brian Rolfe in London last winter!
It's the end of May. What a month! Probably my favorite so far of this year.
It started with the trip in Tuscany with Aleksander and Noemie. The weather wasn't great but I spent such a wonderful time, shooting talking, drinking and eating with 2 of my favorite people. I wish I could so this more often! I'm still waiting for the photos produced in those day but I'm positive that you'll see something next month ;)
Then my trip for the first time in Belgium and Cologne! Had a surprisingly good weather (yes, it plays a big part on my mood and creativity), worked with very good people and despite I had a lack of energies I really enjoyed my time there. I worked for the first time with a new very good photographer: Markus Hoppen. We had only 4 hours to meet and shoot together before flying back to London, but for some reason we really connected quickly and I didn't feel like that for long time. Maybe because he's a portrait photographer and he really saw me and read me in my soul. Sometimes posing for a photographer for me means giving him a gift, I'm showing my self as I really am, I'm showing my real emotions. Sometimes they're capable to accept this present and translate in beautiful and powerful photos. I'm really thankful fo this experience with him and I'm looking forward to show you some photos! I hope we'll connect soon again this year, probably in September :)
Last part of this month and also my favorite is still happening here in the Canary Islands. I came back to Lanzarote after 2 years, and I recognised that I really left a piece of heart here, I missed this island so much. So far I visited only Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, but the first one is absolutely my favorite that pull out my soul from my chest. I had the fortune to shoot for a week with Sam Barton with my boyfriend being there giving me support and doing bts. It was super intense but being with 2 amazing people really made the difference, I worked so hard and show my raw emotions. Somehow this island despite being small is still very wild, spiky rocks, strong wind, rough on my skin but it gently caressed my heart. I felt super connected with the black beaches and huge black stones, laying down and hugging the warm stones while big waves were crashing furious on the cliffs, I felt in peace. A wild space talked to me, it made me fell accepted and at home.
And now I'm in Gran Canaria, which I'm still trying to understand, such a different place but it is giving me good vibes. I think I'll come back home with my hear full from this trip.
Hope you had an amazing month too and enjoyed following me in these adventures! There's a lot I have to share next month. Thanks again for your amazing support, I'll see you soon in a few days for new posts and beautiful travels!
