Sun

Avete presente quando vi svegliate dopo aver fatto un brutto sogno, e sentite ancora le emozioni corrervi addosso? Che vi rimangono ancorate per tutto il giorno, senza magari nemmeno ricordarvi che cavolo avete sognato?

Oggi mi è capitato, ma con un bel sogno, e non mi era mai capitato in vita mia. Non ricordo di preciso cosa stavo sognando ma ero euforica, contentissima, sentivo il petto bruciare dall'estasi, chissà per cosa. Però ricordo un particolare, ricordo che ero sotto i morbidi raggi dell'alba e dicevo "ho bisogno di luce per stare bene", e stavo lì, a crogiolarmi. Ho aperto gli occhi, ma del sole non c'era ombra, anzi era ancora tutto buio. Mi metto a guardare il telefono per qualche minuto e vedo un piccolo raggio di luce filtrare dalle tende e colorare d'oro i dipinti che ho alla mia parete, era proprio l'alba! E sarà una coincidenza e una sciocchezza, ma oggi il sole è rimasto tutto il giorno ad accarezzarmi mentre posavo per delle bellissime foto con in sottofondo Leonard Connor. 

E' stata una giorntata splendida.

Do you know when you wake up after having a nightmare, and still feel the emotions running on you? That they remain anchored to you all day, without perhaps even remembering what the hell you dreamed of?

Today it happened, but with a nice dream, and it had never happened to me in my life. I don't remember exactly what I was dreaming but I was euphoric, very happy, I felt my chest burn with ecstasy, for who knows what. But I remember a detail, I remember that I was under the soft rays of dawn and I said "I need light to feel good", and I was there, basking. I opened my eyes, but there was no trace of the sun, indeed it was still dark. I start looking at the phone for a few minutes and I see a small ray of light filtering through the curtains and coloring the paintings on my wall gold, it was just sunrise! And it will be a coincidence and nonsense, but today the sun has been caressing me all day while I posed for some great photos with Leonard Cohen in the background.

It was a wonderful day.
