2025-03-27 08:51:37 +0000 UTCI do think Medea (aka Caster) was as much a hero here as Rin or Shirou, by saving all of the leftover kids and killing that psycho. Medea's story (originating in Jason and the Argonauts / aka Quest for the Golden Fleece) and the question of whether she was a villain or a tragic heroine has fascinated people for thousands of years -- some of the earliest famous Greek plays tell her story, and there have been even operas written and performed about her. She was also a friend of Herakles, who she once helped out.
