BRING BACK THE SUN
The start of 2022 has many people worried, others hopeful for a new start. I find myself somewhere in-between. Like everyone, the last two years have been a challenge for me, but my family is doing better than most so I try not to complain. We’re healthy, can afford our rent (barely), and support each other emotionally. But we are the lucky ones.
With times being tough, I thought we could all use a dose of Erika, my dear friend and beautiful muse, whose positivity and radiance is as inspiring as it is necessary in this ugly world.
When I last visited with her this weekend, we both shared our continued frustration with people acting out and being their worst selves. I don’t know why we as humans feel the need to be right in our own false logic rather than do what is best for our fellow humans, but that’s the way it goes, I guess. Okay, I’m done ranting.
