SUNSET STRIP

It’s a rare cold and rainy day here in Santa Maria, California. The clouds are low and dark, wind is swirling unevenly and chilling the bones of the jacket less children rushing to school. Office women are drenched before they can even slip on the uncarpeted lobby floor. And here I am, nested safely in my warm home, typing on this goddamn keyboard just for the hell of it.

I found this last set of images of Whitney and Madeleine from last Fall, when the weather was finally becoming crisp. We had no idea of what we were doing that day, and these two women hadn’t seen each other for years. Still, things went smoothly and the butts came out, much to the delight of many of the passersby.

Enjoy this series wherever you are. I hope you’re warm, safe, and shrouded by the mental comfort that you are loved.
