BLURRED LINES

Jenna is of course one of the most naturally beautiful women I’ve ever known. Her face should be carved in marble and displayed in a gallery, preserved for all time for historians and artists.

I tell her things like this often, but of course she can only see her flaws, point out the beauty of other women she thinks is greater than hers, etc. Since she now models often, she gets pigeonholed into a lot of glamour wedding series, and I tease her often every time I see a new photo of hers. “How many times now have you been a bride?”

For as much as she loves those images, she does find it a bit boring. “Maaaaark…!” she’ll whine to me on the phone, when are we shooting again?! I’m in the mood to do something different, something SEXY. None of these photographers let me get sexy!”

So she came over on this special evening last month and brought a few pieces of lingerie, asking if I had anything new to wear. I’ve had this old slip for a while, and I’d actually shot popular redheaded model Zoe in a few weeks before, but she liked it enough to give it a go. “We have to do it in that bathroom,” she demanded as the art director, “that orange light is just too cool!”

Clearly, anything revealing is going to look great on Jenna, and she liked being able to show off more of her body in a tasteful, respectable way. “That’s hot!” she exclaimed when I showed her what we were capturing in this set. “I knew that orange light would work!”

We tried several other outfits after this one, but I will be sharing those later this month.
