Can the undead janitors cut off limbs and have them reattached by Malas, and if so do you know if, and what the functional limits of this is?

Yes, limbs can be reattached if they are fresh enough. We try not to lose them in the first place; the more damage you have, the less stable your body.

Do you have any memories of before being a janitor? If yes which one?

I do not.

Are you afraid of anything? Are you claustrophobic?

No. I’m afraid of heights, but that’s rarely an issue down here.

Do you feel alive?

I don’t know what it would mean to feel otherwise. Do you feel alive?

What's the difference between a janitor and a living person?

So we’re not living people now. Wow. Okay.

Do you feel pain?

Yes, if I get hurt.

Do you wish to keep living? Are you indifferent to life?

Of course I want to keep living. Don’t most people want to keep living?

What's your favorite color?

Green.

What makes you happy?

There is a little spring deep in the school where the walls sparkle with dead water and the burbling sounds like music. It brings me joy to sit there.

Why do you want to stop The Child from being born?

Well, most people would consider the elimination of all human life due to the birth if a grand cosmic being beyond our conception to be a bad thing.

Given the chance, would you choose to go back in past to when you were alive?

Has anyone told you anything about your previous life?

No.

It seems that you’ve lost your memory. Do you also have any knowledge gaps? Such as forgetting some multiplication tables.

It’s difficult to say. I’ve had to learn many things in my duties. Some things I already knew, and many I didn’t. Without knowing what Mr Acanthos knew, it’s hard to know what knowledge has been lost and what was simply never there.

Do you at least get to go briefly outside? Enjoy some sunshine if you so wished?

I’ve seen the sunlight through the various portals leading outside. It looks too bright to me. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about.
