04.19.24 DAY OF DEBUT

I can't write an uber long post right now but (since in the last post I mentioned something about a crazy day) long story short--

Today is mean to be Lavendher's VTuber debut but it's STRESSING ME OUT xD

Not the debut itself but rather a lot is not going as planned, things that are out of my hands x-x

I had been planning for this in a way that I could prepare to make a lot for it but they're things I can't do without the model in my possession.

The hard deadline I'd set before we began the art process was 4/07/24, which by then I expressed concern for the model even going to be ready, so I made sure to push the debut back to the 19th just in case.

And last week, 2 weeks had already passed from the deadline so I reached out to her to make sure the timeline would still work even if she needed more time to work on the model.

To which she assured me it would all be fine, and she would be done with everything before the 19th.

I understand arting and rigging this model, a lot goes into it, so I do my best to stay as off her back as I can, even when I'm stressing tf out like this week x-x So I was just desiring more communication basically.

Within the days window of the 19th I still didn't have the model but three days ago and yesterday she gave me a little video clip update while working on the model, and I was happy to see it. I thought "as long as I can have it the day before, everything can and will work out still, I can pull that off!" .......... FAST FORWARD >>> It's like midnight Friday and I still don't have the model but she's offline and her timezone is different so I can't speak with her ToT So I just go to bed to make sure I'm rested for Friday. I pray that she will have sent it by morning, I can see it sent in the morning, send out a time schedule for day, and things will be okay.

.......I wake up (in the afternoon) to a billion DMs but literally every person on the planet BUT her ToT

(Cue Lav going insane with a smile plastered on her face)

It's almost 3 in the afternoon and I message her with exclamation and she responds almost immediately, after coming online...

Long story short, the file is ready and she has the model but her laptop died and she was out-and-about. So I am awaiting a few things atm:

• her to get home

• her to set the hotkeys

• her to fix a toggle (I paid for something separate but she did it together, so I asked for something else in place of it as a solution)

• her to send me the files

Lord help me. TuT

We will get through this.

Model or no model, I will still stream tonight x-x

Praying really hard I will have the model though.

I had made plans for this Friday to go out and have fun but I literally cannot leave the house with a clear conscience with this happening -- I don't want to disappoint those who have been waiting, it literally pains me the thought of it. :(

In the meantime, a completely change of plans for preparations, I'll just have to get creative and make do so that even if I'm sent the files literally minutes before stream, it will just be a fresh-out-of-the-oven model and the rest of the bakery's already setup and ready for business ^^;
