April was a good month, on the personal front. I got my new computer all built and set up (Skyrim is GORGEOUS now!) Unfortunately, it cost more than I expected (an extra $40 for the keyboard I forgot I needed, $40 for a wifi antenna, $100 for a dude to get it working when I put it all together and it wouldn’t run…) but in a way, it sorta showed I was in better financial shape than I thought I was, ‘cause I’m not tapped out just yet, even after another $120 to fix my disastrous attempt at dyeing my hair. I’m much closer to tapped out than I would LIKE to be, but c'est la vie. Picking up Fallout 4 is just gonna have to wait a lil’ longer...
Now, onto the stuff you guys are gonna actually care about- Three stories last month, a new series, and two old ones continuing to unfold. This month looks to be pretty crazy, too! I’ve got two new $25 tier patrons! Which means two new monthly stories to get started on! I’m honestly not sure if I can manage 5 chapters in a month, but we’re gonna find out!
I was honestly debating about posting Happy Birthday Ch. 8 yesterday or today. ‘Cause yesterday, it made me ~$60, but today it would have made me ~$175, at the expense of lowering the payout for future chapters in the month. But then I realized that posting it today would basically be giving myself an excuse not to work as hard as I possibly can this month. Gambling against my own productivity, in a way...
