First off, I owe you all an apology for the delay in my posting schedule. I'm in the middle of selling my apartment, and things have been a bit more hectic than I anticipated. I'll try my hardest to keep posting as usual. Now, on to the update:

I've been hard at work refining the coding of the game. There's a clear difference between when I began this project and where I am now, especially in the organizing department. It's taken more time than I first thought it would, but with every change, I make sure I don't end up ruining something further down the line.
This part will also be important as I try to implement the new personality system into the game.
As I mentioned in the previous update, I plan on adding a new feature which will give players some influence over Oliver's personality. I've decided to split it up into three personality types: Sweet, Sour, or Spicy (the names are not yet decided).
Sweet: Oliver is kind, friendly, and more considerate.
Sour: Oliver is sarcastic, prone to jokes, and more direct.
Spicy: Oliver is flirty and more sexual in his interactions.
As the game gives choices that affect what Oliver will say or do, one of these personalities will be given a point. The idea is that you need more than three points of one personality for that to take effect. To ensure we don't end up with conflicting personalities, the other two options will receive a negative point if not chosen (with 0 being the lowest). If none of the personalities have above 3, the "default" personality that I write with would take precedence.
I've planned on making some changes to the dialogue between Oliver and the other characters, that will be dependent on the relationship score you have with each of them. I still want to split it up into "friendship" and "love", but for now, I'm still trying to think of a good way to accomplish that. One idea is if you do not find a character hot, you will not be able to activate the "love" counter - and vice versa. You would still be able to get every scene the game has to offer, but the dialogue would be more focused on either "we're friends (with benefits)" or "we're lovers".
After reviewing all the character models, I've decided that only Nathan and Oliver need updates. I've created several versions of their models and will need your help deciding which ones to finalize. I’ll be posting a poll this weekend for our Silver and Gold members to weigh in on their preferred models. (Image above is one of the tests).
