Added 2025-06-21 13:21:26 +0000 UTCIts hard to really nail down CPD Commander Uniforms. It seems as though Caterina lets her high ranking units wear what they like.
So long as its red.
Caterina has a few reasons to have operatives in the outer.
She can't however support Azologoth extractions...…but why?
She would need to field at lease a CPD Delta (180 units) to support such an effort.
A Trinite (36 units) would be needed to carry out the actual extraction but the additional 144 units would be required to establish a logistics hub, provide logistical security and carry out the other necessary support functions for the operation.
Removing a whole Delta from any of their operational Section would be detrimental to their regular operations.
Also because of the nature of the outer an attack from marauders would be a guarantee.
The formation of a Operational Sector to support regular extractions is also not feasible as its so far from their regular supply routes and headquarters.
Stretched supply lines become a liability.
So what do they do in the outer?
The outer is generally where CPD supports their proxies in operations against Black Faction interests. That is, things like providing training, weapons, money, support and other material to shake up BFC.
The proxies vary between independent contractors, micro factions and Marauders.
